One of the strangest bits of news coming out of the states overnight is a sequel to Eddie Murphy’s Coming To America is getting a sequel, with Eddie himself returning.
I am not sure about this at all.. I loved the originals fun and humour and it is fairly safe to say Eddie’s career is been very much non existent for a good while now. Would anyone go see it? It was 30 odd years ago now…
Nothing plot wise has been announced, but with the time difference between the films there is a good chance Eddie’s character is now King Akeem and not Prince Akeem.
Time will tell if this eventually does get released.
